As a small- or power-forward for the London Lions of the British Basketball League (BBL) and the EuroCup, Samuel Thomas Dekker is an American basketball professional.

After being selected by the Houston Rockets with the 18th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Dekker went on to play for the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards, and Toronto Raptors.

Dekker began attending Sheboygan Lutheran, and in 2012, he assisted his high school team in capturing the WIAA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association) state championship for the first time ever.

He finished with 40 points, including the game-winning three-pointer with two seconds remaining in the state championship game. Of those 12, 12 came in the game. On account of his outstanding play in that year, he received the Mr. Basketball Award from the Wisconsin Basketball Association as well as the 2012 Parade All-American, AP first-team, and all-state honors.
