Rick Stein is still mainly based in Padstow. However, Rick Stein often lives with his Australian wife Sarah Stein in Cornwall.

As of 2015, Rick Stein ran a business which was operating four restaurants, a bistro, a café, a seafood delicatessen, a pâtisserie shop, a gift shop and a cookery school.

Rick Stein is the head chef and a co-owner of “Rick Stein at Bannisters” at Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia, alongside his second wife, Sarah.

Rick Stein is an English celebrity chef, restaurateur, writer and television presenter. Rick Stein is the father of Jack Stein, Edward Stein and Charles Stein.

Along with business partner Jill Stein, he has run the Stein hotel and restaurant business in the UK.

Rick Stein’s book English Seafood Cookery won the Glenfiddich Award for Food Book of the Year in 1989. He has written over 25 cookery books, and a memoir and made over 30 programmes including 12 cookery series.
