About Nola Matthews

Nola Matthews is a senior international elite gymnast who represents the United States in women’s artistic gymnastics.

Nola has participated in the American Classic, the U.S. Classic, and the U.S. National Championships.

In 2023, she won the Pan American uneven bars championship.

The California native began making her way to the championships in 2017, by taking part in the Hopes Classic, and the Tournoi International in Combs-la-Ville, France, where she won medals.

Nola made her elite debut in 2019 at the American Classic where she finished ninth place in the all-around and third place on the uneven bars.

She made her senior debut in 2022 at the Winter Cup, winning the gold medal on uneven bars.

Nola additionally represented the United States at the DTB Pokal Team Challenge, where the team won a gold medal.
