Michael Vaughan disappeared from his home in Fruitland nearly eight months ago, and it drew many questions and criticism from the community members- including Michael’s parents.

He was last seen around 6:30 p.m. on July 27 near SW 9th Street.
Since the 5-year-old’s disappearance, more than a dozen law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, have scoured 3,000 acres of land in rural western Idaho, 29 miles of riverbank, drained canals and combed through dozens of files of security footage.

“We’ve received several credible tips,” Huff said. “We work on those every single day. We just find that they take us nowhere at the end of the day.”
The search for Michael has taken on several phases and after multiple ground searches in and around the area and across the State of Idaho.
The Police has said there is a high probability of an abduction, as it has received nearly 850 leads on Michael’s disappearance, but almost all of them have been cleared.
