In the 2008 season, he was one of only two college kickers to make more than 90% of his field goal attempts.

He was the highest scoring kicker in America and ranked fourth in FBS scoring. He was also named to the All-ACC First Team.

He is one of only two punters in history to be named the MVP of a bowl game, having done so in the 2008 Champs Sports Bowl. He holds the Seminoles’ single-season record for 50-yard field goals, having made five in a row from 50 yards or longer.
