In Gloucester, England, the couple ran a boarding house where they tortured, raped, and murdered young women and girls, some of whom were their own daughters.

Many of the victims’ bodies were buried in the garden or beneath the house. Rosemary West was convicted of ten counts of murder in 1995 and sentenced to life in prison.

Fred West, her husband, committed suicide while awaiting trial. Rosemary and Fred West’s crimes have been described as among the most heinous in British history.

Where did Fred and Rose hide their bodies?

Fred West and his wife, Rosemary West, hid the bodies of their victims in various locations around their home in Gloucester, England.

They operated a boarding house at the property and used it as a base for their crimes. The couple killed and abused young women and girls, some of whom were their own daughters.

They buried the bodies of some of their victims in the garden and beneath the house, and also disposed of some of the bodies in other locations.

In 1994, the remains of nine victims were discovered at the property, and Fred West was charged with their murders.

He was also suspected of murdering several other people, including his daughter Heather, who disappeared in 1987 and was never found.
