“When You Have Money, People Will Follow You” – Reactions As Obi Cubana Hits 1.2 Million Followers

CEO of Cubana Group, Obi Cubana, has hit 1.2 million followers on Instagram, few days after he buried his mother in Oba, Anambra State.

Obi Cubana lost his mother, Mrs Ezinne Uche Iyiegbu in December 2020 at the age of 78 and to always remember her, he gave a befitting burial which was all over the country and across the world. Obi trended on social media the whole weekend.

To always keep his mother around him, he ordered a pendant worth  N50K. The pendant was made by an expensive jeweller who shared a picture of it on his Instagram page. The jeweller mentioned in the post that Obi asked him for a pendant worth 100K.

Few days after he buried his mother his followers on Instagram rose to 1.2 million. Reacting to his, netizens mentioned that when one is wealthy, there is no way people will not follow them.
