When was Elliot Cadeau born?

Elliot Cadeau was born in Brooklyn, New York, United States.

The American-Swedish basketball player Elliot Cadeau plays for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Cadeau began his basketball playing career at the Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey where he was a starting point guard in his freshman season and led his team to a 7–2 record.

He was also named to the MaxPreps Freshman All-American First Team.

During his sophomore year, Cadeau missed the season following a high ankle sprain he suffered in December 2021.

Following the season, Cadeau transferred to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, to continue his high career.

After high school, Cadeau was a consensus five-star recruit and was one of the top players in the 2024 recruiting class before reclassifying to 2023 to head to Chapel Hill a season early.

As a freshman with Tar Heels, Cadeau was named the 2023-24 Preseason ACC Rookie of the Year.
