He first appeared on television in that capacity, and since then, he has been cast in a number of well-known films. He has established himself in the profession after receiving multiple honors for his work in Fargo.

The 1992 Ernest Dickerson picture Juice marked Bokeem Woodbine’s feature film debut. The Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps movie received a great deal of attention, and the actor began taking on more and more roles. He acted as the lead in Love Off Limits in 1993. Jaki Brown-Karman saw Woodbine when he made an appearance on the CBS Schoolbreak Special and introduced the gifted young man to director Forest Whitaker.

Popular American actor Bokeem Woodbine is best known for his part in the comedy/crime series Fargo. He was raised in New York’s Harlem neighborhood.
Prior to going to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts, Woodbine attended the Dalton School on the Upper East Side.
He was first drawn to performing by his mother, who was also an actor.
Before being offered the lead role in Forest Whitaker’s 1993 HBO film Strapped, he had to go through a number of auditions.
