When did Susana Dosamantes die?

Susana Dosamantes died at the age of 74 on July 2, 2022.

This is after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Susana was one of the most loved actresses in Mexico known for her appearance in telenovelas such as Noche de Carnaval and Los Tres Mosqueteros.

Susana won the 1990 TVyNovelas, “Best Antagonist Actress” award for her part in the Morir para vivir telenovela.

Since 1968, she worked in around 50 movies and TV series, including several telenovelas. She also starred in several movies like Lobo, Day of Assassin and Hitman, and worked in the telenovela, El Juramento.

She was survived by her two children, Paulina Rubio and Enrique Rubio.
