Born on December 5, 1985, in Delhi, India, Dhawan’s journey in cricket began at a young age.
Dhawan’s domestic career has seen him representing Delhi in first-class cricket, where he honed his skills and developed into a prolific run-scorer.

Notably, Dhawan was the leading run-scorer in the 2013 Champions Trophy, earning the coveted ‘Golden Bat’ award. His performance in this tournament helped India secure the title.
In the 2017 Champions Trophy, Dhawan once again showcased his batting prowess, leading the run-scoring charts and clinching the ‘Golden Bat’ for the second time.

Dhawan is also the first player in the history of the IPL to achieve the remarkable feat of scoring two back-to-back centuries.
