Robbie Williams rose into the spotlight as a member of the pop group Take That from 1990 to 1995. Williams launched his solo career in 1996 with a cover of George Michael’s “Freedom”, which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Robbie Williams attained commercial success after he launched a solo career in 1996. Robbie Williams’ debut studio album, Life thru a Lens, was released in 1997 and has his signature song, “Angels”.

Robbie Williams’ second album, I’ve Been Expecting You, featured his number one singles “Millennium” and “She’s the One”. Six of Robbie Williams’ albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the UK and two of them are in the top 60.

Robbie Williams is one of the best-selling artists of all time and has sold over 77 million records worldwide.

In 2014, Robbie Williams was awarded the freedom of his home town of Stoke-on-Trent. Robbie Williams released his thirteenth album, XXV on 9 September 2022.
