Well, we have some good news and some bad news for you. The good news is that Persona 3 Reload will be available on PC via Steam on February 14th, 2024, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The bad news is that it will only include the original Persona 3 story, not the additional content from Persona 3 FES or Persona 3 Portable.

That’s right, Persona 3 Reload is essentially a remastered version of the original Persona 3, with improved graphics, sound, and gameplay. It will also feature some new features, such as a gallery mode, a new game plus option, and a choice of difficulty levels. However, it will not include the epilogue chapter “The Answer” from Persona 3 FES, nor the female protagonist route from Persona 3 Portable.

Why is that? Well, according to Atlus, the developer of the Persona series, they wanted to focus on delivering the core experience of Persona 3 to a new generation of players, without adding or changing anything that would alter the original vision of the game. They also said that they wanted to respect the fans who played the original Persona 3 and enjoyed it as it was.
So, if you’re looking for a faithful adaptation of Persona 3 with enhanced graphics and performance, Persona 3 Reload is for you. But if you’re hoping for a complete package that includes all the extra content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable, you may be disappointed.
We think Persona 3 Reload is still worth playing, even if it doesn’t have everything you wanted. Persona 3 is a masterpiece of storytelling, gameplay, and music, and we are glad that more people will get to experience it on PC. Plus, who knows? Maybe Atlus will release the other versions of Persona 3 as DLC or standalone games in the future.
