The exact date and place of St. Patrick’s birth are not known for certain, however, his birthplace is thought to have been somewhere in Wales or Scotland.

St. Patrick himself was born in Britain in the late 4th century and kidnapped by Irish raiders when he was a teenager at the age of 16. St. Patrick was born into a Christian family.
St. Patrick was taken to Ireland as a slave where he worked as a shepherd for several years. However, he escaped and returned to Britain. He later returned around 432 ce to convert the Irish to Christianity.
St. Patrick became a priest and bishop. He spent many years travelling throughout Ireland, preaching the gospel, baptizing new converts, and founding churches and monasteries.
