What’s Doomguy’s real name?

Doom Slayer has different real names according to either the name or the game. In the Doom novels years ago, he was referred to as Flynn Taggart. However, in Doom 3 novels, his name was changed to John Kane.

However, one of the creators of the character, John Romero, responded to several questions on Twitter regarding the real name of Doom Slayer.

“I still want to know if Doom Guy’s name is B.J Blazkowicz, Flynn Taggart, John Kane, or what,” @firithpanda tweeted.

Romero replied to the tweet;

“Doom Guy’s name is Doom Guy,”

Other gamers and fans of the novel believe that his real name is B.J Blazkowicz, just like the Wolfenstein games’ family name, which was made clear when Doom debuted in 2016 and Doom Eternal also debuted. They simply referred to the character as Doom Slayer.
