Regina Askia, a former beauty queen and Nollywood actress, shared on social media that she was diagnosed with rare tracheal masses during a recent hospital visit.

The 57-year-old, who now works as a healthcare professional in the United States, expressed her anxiety and fear about the diagnosis, especially regarding her children and aged mother.

She called her 92-year-old mother, who prayed for her, and a support system of family prayer warriors backed this up. After a few days, a CT scan showed ‘no mass, no cancer,’ and Askia expressed her gratitude for the positive results.

She emphasized the importance of kindness and empathy, as one never knows the battles others are facing. Askia also mentioned that she had no symptoms and felt grateful for the opportunity to experience human consciousness.

She fasted and prayed, reminding herself that her life was a gift, and when it’s time, it’s time. Askia expressed her deep empathy for patients who are anxious, confused, and afraid during diagnosis and treatment.
She concluded by praising God for her healing and expressed her gratitude for his mercy and blessings.
