What type of surgery did Taylor Fritz have?
During his second-round French Open loss against Dominik Koepfer in June 2021, he felt a snap in his right knee and was unable to walk off the court.
Fritz underwent an MRI and was told he needed knee surgery and would be out of action for four to six weeks. The surgeon advised him that rather than repairing the meniscus, he might merely need to cut it.
Taylor has since recovered and is back in action.
