Lewis Niles Black is an American actor, author, playwright, social critic, and stand-up comedian best known for his comedic angry rants about history, politics, religion, and cultural trends. He has appeared in several movies and TV shows, including:

Inside Out (2015) where he voiced the character of Anger, Accepted (2006) where he played the role of Ben Lewis, Man of the Year (2006) where he played the role of Eddie Langston, and The Big Bang Theory (2012) where he played the role of Professor Crawley.

Lewis Niles Black was a regular contributor to this satirical news program, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (1996-2015). Lewis Black grew up in a middle-class Jewish family in the Burnt Mills neighborhood of Silver Spring, Maryland.
