Red’s letter to Elizabeth Keen contained his real identity. In Season 8, a sick Reddington wrote a letter to Liz Keen explaining who he really was.

The letter was given to Dembe with instructions to give Liz the letter after his death. Elizabeth Keen is not alive and was killed in the Season 8 finale of ‘The Blacklist.

Elizabeth Keen was born in Moscow, Russia (Soviet Union) as Masha Rostova. At the age of 4, Elizabeth Keen shot and killed her father, the real Raymond Reddington, to stop him from attacking her mother, Katarina Rostova.

Elizabeth Keen had been with the FBI for 6 years and was head of the mobile emergency psych unit in New York. She was married to Tom Keen. Elizabeth has her entire life uprooted as master criminal Raymond Reddington insists on speaking only to her.

Elizabeth Keen is picked up by the FBI and driven to a black site to meet Reddington who tells the FBI that he has a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world and offers to help the FBI track down and apprehend them in exchange for immunity from prosecution.
