Evel Knievel, after completing his sophomore year in Butte High School, left education and got a job as a diamond drill operator with the Anaconda Mining Company. However, his true passion was in motorbiking and not in the mining industry.
Evel Knievel died on November 30, 2007, in Clearwater, Florida, United States of pulmonary disease at the age of 69. Evel Knievel was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999.
