Bonds played for the San Francisco Giants from 1993 to 2007 after spending time with the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1986 to 1992. He is regarded as one of baseball’s all-time best players.

Even though Bonds made his major league debut with the Pirates in 1986 at the age of 21, he quickly established himself as one of the young players to watch in the major leagues. Since he only hit, his batting average was clearly a weakness.

What was Barry Bonds weakness?

Making his major league debut at 21, Bonds immediately set himself as one of the young players to watch in the major leagues, even if his game still had major flaws as a rookie with the Pirates in 1986. His most visible weakness was batting average, as he only hit.

Aside from that, throughout his career, Bonds has shown no weakness against any sort of pitching. And he loves to hit with men on base.
