Harley Edward Streten, known professionally as Flume, is an Australian Grammy award-winning and platinum-selling musician, DJ, and music producer who is regarded as a pioneer of future bass, a genre that blends elements of trap, hip-hop, pop, and electropop.

Some artists that are similar to Flume are ODESZA, San Holo, Louis The Child, and Mura Masa. Flume grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and began composing music at the age of 11, with a basic DJ and mixing program CD for Windows.

Flume has remixed songs from such artists as Lorde, Sam Smith, Arcade Fire, Hermitude, and Disclosure. In February 2013, Flume announced his first national headlining Australian tour, entitled the “Infinity Prism Tour”.
In March 2013, Flume was named one of Fuse TV’s 30 “Must-See Acts” at the SXSW festival. Flume’s mixtape “Hi This Is Flume” (2019) showcased his boundary-pushing creativity. His third studio album, “Palaces” (2022), further explored new sonic territories.
Flume’s second studio album, Skin, released in 2016 topped the ARIA Albums Chart and won the Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
