The Grammys 2022 will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from September 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021.
The Grammys 2022 was originally scheduled for January 31, 2022, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles; however, on January 5, 2022, the Recording Academy postponed the ceremony indefinitely due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 Omicron variant.
On January 18, 2022, The Grammys was rescheduled to April 3, 2022, and switched its location to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

South African comedian Trevor Noah, who hosted the previous ceremony on March 14, 2021, will return as host.

Grammys red carpet coverage will stream on April 3 via the Grammys website and Recording Academy Twitter feed, starting at 5:30 p.m. CT, 6:30 p.m. ET, 3:30 p.m. PT. Alabama native Laverne Cox is set to host E!’s red-carpet show, “Live From E!: Grammys,” on April 3 at 6 p.m. CT, 7 p.m. ET, 4 p.m. PT.
