Lolita: A Mediterranean-style gem in Tremont, known for its seafood and pasta.

B Spot Burgers: Two locations serving up elevated burgers, bratwurst, and beer.

Mabel’s BBQ: Las Vegas hotspots serving up smoky, delicious barbecue and Southern classics.

What happened to Michael Symon restaurants?

Michael Symon’s restaurant was severely affected by the pandemic. Due to financial strain, his flagship Lola, which had been operating for more than 20 years, closed in 2020.

In 2018 and 2020, a number of B Spot locations, especially those outside of Cleveland, closed. Unexpectedly, Detroit’s Roast closed its doors in 2022.

It’s not all closures, either. Mabel’s BBQ and Bar Symon are still open in Cleveland, as are a few B Spots.

Along with projects like his charity and TV appearances, Symon concentrates on these. Even while he longs for good dining, he recognises the difficulties facing the business and appears happy with his present portfolio.
