Joe currently plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Joe played baseball while in Poway High School in San Diego, California, and also played college baseball at the University of San Diego.

During summer, he played with the Kelowna Falcons of the West Coast League, as well as the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Joe previously played for the San Francisco Giants, LA Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Atlanta Braves.

In 2014, Joe was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the first round, as 39th pick, of the MLB draft.

In 2015 he played with the West Virginia Power, and batted .245/.366/.303.

Thereafter, he played with the Arizona Fall League.

Joe was signed in by the Colorado Rockies in 2020 and was selected to the active roster the following year.

Joe had completed the season hitting .285 with eight home runs and 35 RBI in 63 games.
