Welsh professional footballer, Ben Davies, plays as a central defender for Tottenham Hotspur and the Wales national team.

Davies was born 24 April 1993, in Neath, West Glamorgan.
Davies attended Ysgol Gyfun Ystalyfera as well as the youth academy at Swansea City shortly before his family relocated to Viborg, Denmark.
While in Denmark, he played for Viborg FF’s youth team, and then moved back to Swansea.
In July 2014, the Tottenham Hotspur signed Davies and he played in the Europa League game against Cypriot side AEL Limassol.

In 2012, Davies played in the Wales squad for 2014 FIFA World Cup. He had been had replaced club teammate Neil Taylor, due to an ankle injury during a Premier League match against Sunderland.
When he made his international debut in 2012, he recorded a 2–1 win against Scotland.
In May 2021 he was picked for the Wales squad for the delayed UEFA Euro 2020 tournament.
So far in his career, Davies has made more than 70 senior appearances for Wales.
Davies contributed to make Wales qualify for the FIFA World Cup in 2022, the first since 1958.
