Jalen Rose is a former professional basketball player and sports analyst from the United States.

Jalen Rose played as a small forward in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for six teams after skipping his senior year at Michigan, establishing a solid pro career.

In the 1994 NBA draft, he was chosen 13th overall by the Denver Nuggets.  After two seasons in Denver, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers for Mark Jackson, Ricky Pierce, and a future first-round draft pick, along with Reggie Williams and a future first-round draft pick.

During his time with Reggie Miller in the Indiana Pacers team, he made three consecutive Eastern Conference finals and reached the NBA Finals in 2000. He left the game in 2007 with a career average of 14.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds.

Jalen Rose was a member of the University of Michigan Wolverines’ “Fab Five” (along with Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson) that advanced to the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship games as freshmen and sophomores in 1992 and 1993.
