American comedian, Ray Romano is known for starring in several movies and tv shows. Some of his movies include; Everybody Loves Raymond, the Ice Age film series, Somewhere in Queens, Get Shorty, The Big Sick, The King of Queens, and more.

He started his career in 1989 when he competed in the Johnnie Walker Comedy. He has been featured in many outlets like Comedy Central.

Romano was also cast to play Joe (originally named Rick) on the popular sitcom, NewsRadio but was replaced by Joe Regan eventually. He also appeared on Late Show with David Letterman on CBS.

He also starred in his own show Everybody Loves Raymond on CBS. He has two Emmy Awards as an executive producer of his show Everybody Loves Raymond – Outstanding Comedy Series in 2002 and 2005.

He became the the highest-paid television actor in 2004 during his role of Raymond on Everybody Loves Raymond. The show broke a record of the highest revenue, raking in $3.9 billion.

Romano was the subject of the documentary film 95 Miles to Go. It was about hos road trip for a series of rides across the south of the United States.

In 2002, he voiced the woolly mammoth Manfred (Manny) in the Ice Age film series – Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009), Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012), and Ice Age: Collison Course (2016).

He also played a leading role in 3 seasons of the MGM+ television show Get Shorty from 2017 to 2019. He is set to play the role of Jim Valvano in the forthcoming movie about NC State Wolfpack basketball coach.

Romano also participated in the World Series of Poker in 7 years from 2007 to 2011, 2013, and 2015.
