Karla Susana Olivares Souza was born on December 11, 1985. Souza was born in Mexico City to a Chilean father and a Mexican mother. She studied acting at Centro de Educación Artística, the famed acting school run by Mexican media giant, Televisa, in Mexico City.
In February 2015, Karla Souza appeared on the cover of Women’s Health. Karla Souza has played Marina in the sitcom Home Economics since 2021.
