American actor, Mark Hamill has played several roles in numerous movies and tv shows in his career. He has one of the largest filmographies in the United States. Some of his movies include the Star Wars franchise, Child’s Play, Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Machine, Corvette Summer, The Little Mermaid, The Big Red One, and more.

Born on September 25, 1951, Mark Hamill started his career at a very early age. One of his early career appearances was in the soap opera General Hospital, as well as The Texas Wheelers. 

His first movie in the Star Wars franchise was in 1977 when he starred in Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977 and played the role of Luke Skywalker.

Hamill’s Star Wars movies, documentaries, and other collections include Star Wars Holiday Special, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Hero with a Thousand Faces, The Making of Star Wars, Empire of Dreams: The Story of Star Wars Trilogy, From Star Wars to Jedi: The Making of a Saga, The Mandalorian Season 2, and more.

Aside from the Star Wars franchise, he has also starred in other movies including Corvette Summer, The Big Red One, The Muppet Show, The Night the Light Went Out in Georgia, The Elephant Man, Harrigan ‘N Hart, and more.

His very recent movie was  The Kids in The Hall by Amazon Prime Video, which was released in 2022.

Hamill has also played several voice-acting roles in his career for both DC and Marvel comics. Some of these animated movies and shows include The Incredible Hulk, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Phantom 2040, and more.

He also played the role of the Joker in the 1992 series, Batman: The Animated Series, and continued in many spin-offs later. Hamill voiced the Joker in many DC Comics animations including Superman: The Animated Series. The New Batman Adventures, Justice League, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Birds of Prey, and more.
