Born on July 8, 1993, he started his career as a child actor who appeared in numerous professional theatre productions including All My Sons, Macbeth, La Vie En Bleu, The Forgiving Harvest, and more, from 2002 to 2004.

In 2011, he wrote the screenplay and also acted in Following Chase which was directed by Koorhan. He also co-wrote and acted in Moe & Jerryweather for two seasons from 2014 to 2016.
Corenswet was cast as a co-lead actor in the tv series The Tap. After graduating from college, his debut film was Affairs of State when he starred as Michael Lawson in 2018. He also appeared as a guest star in several films and tv series including House of Cards, Instincts, Elementary, and more.
He was announced as a cast member of the Apple + TV show, Lady in the Lake set to be directed by Alma Har’el in 2023. He is also set to play the lead role in The Answers.
