His dramatic arc as heart patient Denny Duquette, who in a star-crossed romance wins the heart of intern Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl), made him a universal fan favourite.

Jeffery Dean Morgan is also known for his roles in the CW fantasy horror series Supernatural (2005-2007; 2019) and Negan in the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead.
