Jason Segel is an actor, comedian, and writer who is best known for his work on the popular television show “How I Met Your Mother”.

He played the character of Marshall Eriksen, a law student and best friend of the show’s main character, Ted Mosby. Segel’s performance on the show was well-received and helped to establish him as a talented comedic actor.

He is also known as for his work with the director and producer Judd Apatow on the television series Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared, and for the critically successful comedies in which he has starred, written, and produced.
