At UAMS, Terry Bradshaw got a knee replacement with Dr Lowry Barnes, ankle surgery with Dr Robert Martin and wrist surgery with Dr Theresa Wyrick.

Terry Bradshaw was a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League. He retired from football on July 24, 1984.

Following his retirement, Terry Bradshaw signed a television contract with CBS to become an NFL game analyst in 1984. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989 and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996.

Terry Bradshaw became the recipient of the Golden Plate Award of the American Academy of Achievement in 1970. He was inducted into the inaugural class of the Louisiana Tech sports hall of fame in 1984.
