What Is T.J. Dillashaw Fighting Style?

American mixed martial artist, Tyler Jeffrey (T.J) Dillashaw, adopts the wrestling fighting style.

Born on February 7, 1986, in Sonora, California, Dillashaw grew up with his parents in California.

He trained under Coach Jan Schulz as an amateur Wrestler while at Bret Harte High School.

Dillashaw qualified two times for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) state wrestling competition.

Dillashaw had a successful high school career, and proceeded to wrestle for Cal State Fullerton Titans, under coach Mark Munoz.

As a college student, he participated in the UFC middleweight division and joined the Reign Training Center fighter class.

Dillashaw has won the UFC Bantamweight Championship two times

Dillashaw was stripped off his title in 2019, following a failed drug test during his UFC Flyweight Championship. He was suspended by the UFC for two year until 2021.

In 2021, he ranked number 2 in the UFC bantamweight rankings.

Dillashaw is set to face Aljamain Sterling, come October 22, 2022 at UFC 280 Bantamweight Championship title.
