Robert Stephen Bennett (August 2, 1939 – September 10, 2023) was an American attorney and senior counsel to Bennett LoCicero & Liu LLP. The Clinton-Lewinsky scandal is primarily remembered for him having defended President Bill Clinton during that time.

He worked for Howard Francis Corcoran, a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, as a clerk from 1965 to 1967. Bennett worked as the District of Columbia’s assistant US attorney after earning his law degree.
