Randy Johnson, a Hall of Fame pitcher, has pursued his passion for photography since retiring from the MLB after the 2009 season.

He has his portfolio website, which is mentioned on his Diamondbacks front office bio page, the MLB has written at least two separate articles about it, and the NFL has published its piece about Johnson’s second career.
The majority of his photography is not related to sports. Johnson has galleries on his website for his concert photography, travel photography, and wildlife photography.

He has toured as the band’s photographer with bands such as Soundgarden and photographed a metal festival for Rolling Stone.
According to his website, Johnson studied photojournalism at the University of Southern California between 1983 and 1985.
While in college, he shot photos for the school newspaper, the Daily Trojan, and a small rock n’ roll magazine in Los Angeles, according to the bio on his old Tumblr account.
Johnson’s work at an NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 4, 2011, has gone viral.
