Who Is Jesse Palmer?

Jesse Palmer is a sports commentator, former professional footballer and TV host of the popular dating game show The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Born on October 5, 1978, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Palmer played college football at the University of Florida, where he was the starting quarterback for the Gators from 1999 to 2000.

Following a successful college career, Palmer was drafted by the New York Giants in the fourth round of the 2001 NFL Draft.

He ended up playing for the Giants, the San Francisco 49ers and the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Upon retiring from football, Palmer embraced a career in television, and went on to appear on the fifth season of the reality show “The Bachelor” in 2004.

Palmer also worked as a sports commentator and analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network, providing analysis and commentary for college football games.

Other shows he has appeared on include “Good Morning America” and “Live with Kelly and Michael”, and the “Holiday Baking Championship” on the Food Network.
