IShowSpeed is an American YouTuber from Cincinnati, Ohio. IShowSpeed was born on January 21 as Darren Watkins Jr.

On his gaming and entertainment live streams, he is known for his extravagant, eccentric, and hot-headed personality.
Darren began gaining around 1,000 subscribers weekly and 350 viewers in his live streams in early 2021, gradually increasing until he surpassed 100,000 subscribers in April 2021.

Between May and June of that year, Darren’s fanbase began uploading clips from his livestreams and memes to TikTok, allowing him to surpass 1 million subscribers in the same time frame and eventually also surpassed 1.1 million subscribers.

Following his success, Darren began working with various music producers to release songs such as Shake (2021), Bounce That A$$ (2021), Dooty Booty (2021), and God Is Good (2022).
Darren also features his school in his live streams, and will occasionally troll users on Omegle.
Speed was arrested in August 2022 for an unknown reason. It is said that he either prank-called the cops or burned his PS4 in his backyard.
