The Carpe Diem tattoo is found on her right hand. The word ‘Carpe Diem means ‘living in the present’, and suggests that we should focus on enjoying the present without thinking of the future.
On Svitolina’s left upper thigh is a portrait of a tiger tattooed. The tiger tattoo symbolizes strength, courage, and confidence. She got this tattoo done in 2017.

The ‘OM’ tattoo is on the inner side of Svitolina’s right wrist.
Many tennis players have tattoos, and the rule of the game does not specify what would happen if a player wears a tattoo.
Svitolina has reached two Grand Slam semifinals at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships and the 2019 US Open. In 2021, Svitolina won the Olympic bronze medal in the women’s singles tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics and became the first Olympian to win a medal in tennis for Ukraine.
