During an interview with Deadline at the premiere of “Lisa Frankenstein,” Cody disclosed that the film is set in the same universe as “Jennifer’s Body.”
“I am just declaring that this movie takes place in the same universe. I have decided that. I will not say that you’d see any overt references to that but I’m saying it,” Cody stated.
Essentially, she’s asserting this connection as a creative decision, implying that the two films coexist in the same narrative universe. It’s a bold move, but as the creator, Cody holds the power to shape the fictional worlds of her movies as she sees fit.
