Stoll attended Long Lake Camp for the Arts from 1988 to 1992. He then graduated from Oberlin College in 1998 and subsequently studied the Graduate Acting Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 2003.

Stoll commenced his acting career in 2001 and has since featured in over 50 films.
