Not Trying to Love You singer Chad Kroeger does not seem to have a particular religion or be a religious person.

Kroeger holds many belief systems, which combines elements of different kinds of religions.
”I would call myself more spiritual than religious”, he once said.

Chad Kroeger was born on November 15, 1974, in Alberta, Canada, and began music in the 1990s, singing with the cover band, Village Idiot.

In 2001, Kroeger founded the band The Suits XL, and later co-founded the Vancouver-based 604 Records. His band, Suits XL became a nominee for a Canadian Indie Award in 2007.
Kroeger now performs as lead vocalist of the rock band Nickelback.
In terms of collaborations, Kroeger has worked with many artistes such as “Saliva vocalist Josey Scott, Theory of a Deadman lead vocalist, Tyler Connolly and Our Lady Peace drummer Jeremy Taggart.” They had all performed the Spider-Man theme song “Hero” in 2002.
Kroeger has also collaborated with Timberland, Ludacris, Zakk Wylde, French-Canadian pop rock singer Avril Lavigne, and many more.
