Famous actor and screenwriter, Brett Goldstein has been trending lately after Ted Lasso’s season finale aired on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. The show came to an end after three seasons.

In 2020, he was hired by TV producer Bill Lawrence for the Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso, starring Jason Sudeikis. His writing on the show led to his being cast as the character of aging footballer Roy Kent.

Goldstein later won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series two years in a row in 2021 and 2022, for his work on Ted Lassso.
He made his television debut in 2009 when he starred in two episodes of ITV’s long-running police drama The Bill. From 2012 to 2016, he appeared in several comedy series, such as Uncle, Drifters, Derek, and more.
Goldstein also created and wrote the six-part science fiction anthology Soulmates for AMC, based on their short film For Life (2013). The series premiered in October 2020.
