Andres Iniesta was arguably Spain’s best player in the World Cup, even scoring the winning goal in the final, not to mention his fabulous performance in the Euro 2008.

He was Man of the Match in the World Cup final, he scored an incredible last-minute goal at Stamford Bridge to send Barcelona to the 2009 Champions League final, he had two outstanding performances in the Champions League finals, and so on.

Iniesta began his career as a defensive midfielder, progressed to centre midfield, and is now the world’s best attacking midfielder. He also excels on both wings, giving him the ability to play five different positions.

While he excels as an attacking midfielder, he is also world-class in the other four positions. It’s difficult to find another player in the world who can play so many various positions so well.

Iniesta signed a three-year contract with Japanese club Vissel Kobe on May 24, 2018. On 22 July, he made his debut as a second-half substitute for Kazuma Watanabe in a 0–3 loss to Shonan Bellmare.

Iniesta signed a contract extension with Vissel Kobe on May 11, 2021, keeping him at the club for another two seasons.
