Famous actor, Jack Thompson was diagnosed with a serious kidney disease in 2019, which he is still battling with, as of 2023.

“I never thought end-stage renal failure would have anything to do with me. I certainly didn’t have a diet full of sugar. I exercised. I had a healthy diet, I was stunned, here I am,” he said.

“Inevitably, I started to think about how this would affect the making of a film that I had been wanting to make for seven years,” he added.

Is Jack Thompson still on dialysis?

According to sources, Jack Thompson chose to come off dialysis and slowly pass away when the time is up. The disease is so intense that there is no option for an implant.

“I would finish the day of filming around six o’clock and go to dialysis. Finish about midnight, go to sleep at about one o’clock, get up again at about five o’clock the next morning, and back to filming. But I was very a very happy man doing that,” he once shared during an interview.
