Since news of the alleged assault became public in the summer of 2021, Trevor Bauer has been on administrative leave. Bauer was suspended from the MLB for a total of 324 games, or two years, by the league on April 29, 2022.

The Los Angeles Dodgers released a statement saying, “Today, we were informed that MLB has completed its investigation into allegations that have been made against Trevor Bauer, and the Commissioner has issued his decision regarding discipline.”

“All allegations of this nature are taken very seriously by the Dodgers organisation, which does not condone or excuse any acts of domestic violence or sexual assault.”

A violation of the MLB’s Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Child Abuse Policy resulted in his suspension. Bauer took to Twitter to deny all allegations once more, stating that he will appeal the MLB’s decision.

He wrote, “In the strongest possible terms, I deny violating the league’s domestic violence and sexual assault policy.” “I intend to appeal this action and believe I will be successful.”
