What happened to Tyrone O’Sullivan?

Tyrone O’Sullivan’s cause of death is not known yet, however, some sources claim that he died of old age. He was 77 years old and died on May 27, 2023.

He was also a great supporter of the Labor Party. He had been a member since he was 16. He endorsed Jeremy Corbyn’s campaign in 2016 in the Labor Party leadership election.

“I am so sad and shocked to hear of the death of Tyrone O’Sullivan, a giant of the Labour and trade union movement and a hero to me. He was a friend and an example of how to fight to change society,” Local Labour Party MP Beth Winter said after his death.

“I’m devastated to hear that the legendary Tyrone O’Sullivan has sadly passed away. Since getting elected, I have been proud to know Tyrone as a warm, since, and intelligent member of Gower CLP. He will be remembered as a towering figure of trade unionism and the Labour movement,” MP Tonia Antoniazzi also shared.

He was awarded the OBE in the 1996 New Year Honors and was an adviser to the now discontinued Welsh Development Agency and an Honorary Fellow of the University of Wales.
