What happened to Tulsi Gabbard?

Tulsi Gabbard, who served as the U.S. representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district from 2013 to 2021 has announced that she is leaving the Democratic party. According to her, the party is driven by ‘cowardly wokeness’ and ‘anti-white racism.’

In a video posted on Twitter, she shared that she can longer be a part of a party that is under the control of “an elitist cabal of warmongers.”

“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue, and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms,” she wrote in the posts.

According to sources, Tulsi Gabbard has been a heavy critic of the Russian-Ukraine war and has heavily spoken down on President Biden’s administration over the past few years. She once served in the United States Army Reserve.
