American singer, Shifty Shellshock has been making the news lately after he was arrested by the police.

According to sources, he was arrested on Tuesday morning (April 25, 2023) for driving under influence (DUI) in South California.
Reports state that police in Myrtle Beach got a call to be on the lookout for a black SUV with California plates swerving in and out of lanes.

The caller shared that the driver of the SUV was falling behind the wheel at a red light. When the police found the car, they noticed that Shifty Shellshock was the driver, and was also showing signs of being impaired.
Shifty was pulled over by the police, stating that he was lethargic and also failed a sobriety test. He was also sacked from the Crazy Town tour in Myrtle Beach a few days ago after he got involved in a fight with fellow bandmate Bobby Reeves.

Born Seth Brooks Binzer on August 23, 1974, he started his career in 1992 when he met Bret Mazur. They collaborated under the name The Brimstone Sluggers and later formed the rap rock band, Crazy Town in 1999.
The band signed to tour with Ozzfest in 2000, however, they were forced to withdraw after only two weeks when Shifty was arrested for throwing a chair through a window while he was drunk.
Their first hit song was Butterfly which peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and in other countries including Austria, Denmark, and Norway.
They released their debut album The Gift of Games which exceeded 1.5 million sales. In 2002, they released another album titled Darkhorse, but due to its failure, the band broke up.
Shifty went solo shortly afterward. He released his solo song dubbed Bunkka. The song peaked No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number six on the UK Singles chart.
In 2004, he released his debut album dubbed Happy Love Sick. He fronted ‘The Big Shots’ group in 2010 and released their first single Save Me.
